As already mentioned on our home page, Teratai Solutions is basically a nonprofit organization, which can help you with nearly all your computer problems.
Teratai Solutions designs and builds websites and also provides marketing consultancy, IT and Web support.
Of course we can also optimize your site, do the maintenance, or help you to achieve higher rankings at search engines.

Teratai Solutions can arrange your web-hosting an domain registration for a fair price. We can also be at your service when you live on Lombok and need computer maintenance or you are in need of any consultancy about computers, software, internet or network-configuration.

Web-design - Site-development - Maintenance
All our webdesign and development takes place in close cooperation with our customers.
So you can be sure the look and feel (atmosphere) of your website matches your company style. Throughout the design stages we want you to consider what your goal is and what the visitors of your site expect to find there. Use a lot of animation and gadgets or keep focused at the content of the pages? It's up to you. But we help you to find a good balance.
You can be sure we provide all the functionality that is needed and still keep an eye on an easy to use user interface (navigation through the site) and easy ways for the visitors to get in touch with you
We develop you site-pages with all the technically stuff (meta-tags, keywords, descriptions) to ensure a high ranking with all the common search engines.
When a developed site is ready for launch on the internet we can help you with the domain registration and the hosting of your site including the initial upload to the server, and setting up your E-mail accounts.
Finally we can offer you a maintenance package to keep your site up to date and submit your site to the search-engines on a regular basis, so high ranking will be assured.
Throughout all these stages Teratai Solutions will be responsible for the functionality of the site, but you will be the owner of the program source-code and thus responsible for the content of the pages.

The pricing of developing a website is vastly dependant of the size of your website (amount of pages), the needed functionality and the amount of multimedia usage.
But to give you an idea about the rates:
Sites like Lombok Rental Villas and the Sunset Villa Site can be built for around $600,- to $800,- including domain-name and hosting
Making a mock up (design only without functionality) costs about $200,
Webhosting Package:
Domain registration, website hosting, Unlimited private E-mail accounts
$50,- per year.
Maintenance package:
Regular upload of your site for high ranking and keeping the site up to date.
Depending of the size of your website: from $80,- to $300,- per year
Computer courses
All computer courses are private and can be attended by a maximum of four students.
Basic Computer Skills - Duration 2 months
How to operate a computer, Working with Windows XP, Installing programs, Computer and software maintenance, Basic hardware repairs, Working with the internet
Office Programs - Duration 3 months
How to use all the Microsoft Office Programs,
Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint and Outlook (also introduction to the new 2007 version)
Web Master Course - Duration 3 months
Everything you need to know to become a webmaster and website designer.
(Basic knowledge about computers and the Office programs required)
Course Rates :
For all courses there is a training schedule of two times two hours weekly
The price is $80,- per month per student but discounts can be discussed when 2 or more students are attending the same course at the same time.
A non-profit company ? ! ?
Yes, Teratai Solutions is basically a nonprofit. Which means we use all our profit to help young Lombok students from poor families to get some computer education. There are a lot of bright young people on Lombok who don't go to school after twelve year old because their family lacks the money to buy the school fees. We don't like these talents to be wasted so we help out where ever we can. Having the basic skills with computers helps them to find a proper job so they can support their families.

Any donations to our education program are very welcome !
